Our client wanted to see his inherited narrow garden in Battersea, London transformed into something with different parts or 'rooms'. Decking was chosen for the first section as the step out of the kitchen was very steep. The deck could easily be built up to meet the level of the kitchen door sill without compromising the damp-proof course. the borders hug the other parts and planting is strong and architectural. It was decided in order to keep costs down to fix trellis panels to the existing irregular fencing. These trellises would in time be covered with climbers.
